First, let’s play a game:
Two truths and a lie about me:
I have a beautiful tuxedo and her name is
I have a beautiful tuxedo and her name is Lila.

I’m radically passionate about cross-cultural communication and creating human-centered experiences, both online and offline.
Backstory: I studied linguistics and Italian in university in China and spent almost a year in Italy. That experience fueled my interest in how different cultures coexist and connect through communication—a perspective I aim to bring to my design.
Through communication, we understand; through collaboration, we flourish.
After graduating, I worked in China for a year, then moved to the UK to further my studies in marketing and later worked there as a marketing executive. My experience in marketing gave me valuable insights that I now integrate into UX design, like:
Balancing Business and User Needs
A product only succeeds when both business goals and user needs are met. I bridge this gap through solid user research and open and constant communication with stakeholders.
The Power of Teamwork
Cross-functional collaboration is essential to delivering effective designs. I excel at translating user needs into appropriate terms everyone can understand, from developers to business leaders.
Resourcefulness
Design thrives on adaptability, especially with limited resources. Knowing how to apply principles flexibly to deliver solid solutions is a crucial skill I gained from my marketing roles and now value as a UX designer.

Fast-forward to now: after being exposed to product and UX design in my last two jobs, I became fascinated with decoding user behaviour and psychology and creating actionable solutions. I realized it was time to focus fully on UX design.
So, I enrolled in a UX bootcamp—with a few months of full commitment and quite a few all-nighters—and poof! Here I am, excited to keep learning in this ever-evolving field, ready to craft more user-focused and empowering products with a playful twist, and more than eager to take on my next challenge as a UX designer.
